  • Attakwaskloof 130km MTB race. 20 January. Rode with girlfriend Amber. 8hrs in the saddle! (Dont remember -or care-where we finished)
  • Lighthouse to Lighthouse 2 day MTB race. Feb 10. 1st. New course record.
  • Sani2c 3 day mountain bike race. March 2-5. www.sani2c.co.za The purist’s stage race: 11th (2 Man team with Down Hill ace Greg Minnaar www.gregminnaar.com
  • Spur Adventure team race, Cape Town. 15 April Probably last. Got to groove with a movie star though.

  • Wildflower 6 May Who knows. Was DQ for supposed helmet infringement, still under investigation. Crossed the line 10th.
