Support Jamie Whitmore
Hi Everyone.
As you all know Jamie Whitmore is having serious health issues this year. There is going to be a Silent Auction at Xterra US nationals in Tahoe to show our support and raise some money for her. The idea is to have each Professional athlete donate an item or two which in turn can be auctioned to benefit Jamie. Bring something desirable and useful to Tahoe for this cause. There will be a tent at the expo area on the Friday where you can bring your item/s and write up an auction card for it. The Auction will be on Saturday 5th October.
I think its going to bring a great vibe and support to Jamie. Plus provide some neat things for people to buy!
We do need volunteers to help with the set up and display of the items on Friday, and several hours covered on Saturday too. So if you or your friends/family would have an hour or two Let us know and we’ll make up a schedule.

Post Auction: Left over stock (unless otherwise specified) is going to be shipped to my team mate and friend Nick Martin (theproscloset.com) and sold there with the proceeds going directly to Jamie.
Please forward this to other Xterra pro athletes for product donation and other athletes to create a buzz. If you have any ideas or questions let us know. Janet and I had talked about advertising some stock ahead of time.. but I wasn’t sure how to do this? Also as I’m adding my address list I’m realising its spotty to say the least.. plse forward to your contacts!
